Germany - Allgäu Alps (Trekking)

Undoubtedly're in the "Top 5"!

A wonderful and challenging trekking in the Alps in the region of Bavaria (southern end of Germany - the border with Austria), known as Allgäu.

Unique landscapes with waterfalls to the right across the path, crossing the snow (at angles that obligate you to go sliding down the hill) cliff that defy any backpacker, jagged mountains and still partly covered by ice and tiny flowers and graceful that make landscape much more colorful.

If you live in Germany or if you live nearby or far away, but dispense with any museum / church / European castle to do trekking in the heights, can not miss the Allgäu region. Until this trip in Germany had nothing surprised me both positively and this trail. Simply because I love nature and I missed something more wild here. SIIIIIM But they have to offer in this area too! Believe it!

It was an extremely enriching experience because apart from the wonderful trekking, we also had the opportunity to interact with more than 3 days 8 young Germans. People also really nice. Of course it was not fun to be with Brazilians, but rolled. People calm, without crises and well and willing to help you integrate. It was interesting to note that each dot gain after these days with the group, because when we met on Friday gave us all a hand and when we parted on Sunday gave us two kisses each one and even, gasp, hugged us! I never thought a German surrender trekking with both (((-: ...

Maaa trekking back to have to say is not something for amateurs. We left Stuttgart Friday about noon and rode 200km drive to Oberstdorf, the starting point of the trail that would last two days. We start from Oberstdorf and has traveled in an upward Friday to break the pawn for approx. 2 ½ hours to reach the first hut (Kemptner Hütte-1869) situated at an altitude of 1846 meters, where we stayed from Friday to Saturday.

Arriving at the cabin has a place at the entrance where all backpackers leave their boots and sticks (stick modern). I found very interesting and I was imagining it in Brazil. Would you dare leave your expensive hiking boots all night in a place where everyone has access?? It is in these situations that do not understand why we are a first world country. (((-:

The cabin was very cute and cozy, with only one thing: hot water. The water was freezing, ie, no bath. For Germans it is normal, but for us, in that situation, a hot bath was all we needed after climbing up and up for almost 3 hours. It was then, realizing that it would not be possible to take bath aqueeeeele understand the need that the Germans have to buy a hand towel. Already on our shopping list for the next trek. (((-:

Before arriving in this cabin, I thought it was kind of hostel, ie, with bunk beds. But no. Do you sleep side by side with people in a bed where they fit many backpackers. Luckily I slept against the wall and the side of Rodrigo, but imagine sleeping side by side with strangers and wake them with the breath in your face. Afff .... Miss bunk.

We agree and when we looked out the window of the hut the sky was incredibly blue and the sun blessing us once again. Unbelievable, because during the night it rained so much that I thought the ceiling would not hold. Amen We left very early and headed to the next destination to 2048 meters altitude, the cabin "Waltenberg Haus." We walked about 4 hours, with only some of us used one hour to climb to the highest peak trekking, Bockkarkopf (2608m).

Arriving at the summit did something that you need to register. When someone in Brazil reaches the peak of a mountain it is customary to vibrate, cry ("the summit alone embrace all interested !!!"),, jump, kiss or even" grapple, "but we're in Germany and peak with the Germans. Arriving at the peak they gave me a hand so very cold and solemn, and said: "xxxxxx" (....). I was looking at everyone who gave me a hand with the face of the landscape and wondered what was so "that" and then Rodrigo explained that they were celebrating. Differences. Anyway. Good thing there, otherwise I would lose the opportunity to write this paragraph. (((-:

The worst part of the trail for me, believe me, came after the highest peak reached in that way. It was time to descend. I said DOWN truth, an inclination of almost 90 degrees (exageraaada..) Entitled to snow and loose stones across the path of descent. The Germans smarter and more familiar with snow wore something in the hip area and were "skibunda" down the hill. We Brazilians without the slightest affinity with snow decided to go down by stones when possible, but frankly, I preferred the "skibunda."

Sai surfing and falling on stones, was one of the passages in which he rolled a bowling alley between me and Rodrigo. I was the ball and pin it. (((-: Guess who screwed up in this? Pin! Poor thing. He was badly hurt, as I slipped in the first stretch of snow and he was in front of me trying to balance itself until the rocks. We left the two without slipping brake until the stones and he blew his knee poor little thing, I, for once, got up killing myself laughing ... and continued falling until the end! (((-:

After falls, rises, falls and falls arrived at the cabin (Waltenberg Haus - 1875) at 2048m altitude. The landscape of the place makes you forget any fall! A cabin in the middle of everything, surrounded by mountains and nature. A place where all things necessary to arrive or arrive by helicopter or backpackers who travel a long and difficult journey carrying approx. 30kg in a backpack. Something unbelievable when you know the track.

The cabin does not offer much comfort, which is understandable considering how difficult it is to keep a place like that, totally apart and with a path accessible only by air or by backpackers. Well, we were without a shower for a second day believe it is nothing new, but we slept one pasted on the other for lack of space, but this is something we will not ever forget, because we do not sleep. The space was so limited that gave agony, but I'm sure some smart people slept "very well, thank you."

In the hut we saw the first "wild" animals of the trip. But according to Rodrigo they are created by the owner of the hut and paid to appear every day about 19 hours to be photographed. (((-:

After take pictures of horned, we get the guys to bedtime. It's quite funny to observe the difference between Germans and Brazilians traveling in class. The Germans sit at the table together, ask for something to drink, grab a book or a magazine and stay there, as if they were sitting together talking, reading alone. The Brazilians are talking nonsense, laughing, drinking to Dana or even philosophical about the end of the world together. Oh ... and Brazilian play usually truco while young Germans play Super Trumfo cars or UNO. Rodrigo and I know that I stood there waiting to paint an interesting conversation, but in the end we saw our salvation: a guitar. So we sat at another table and we were playing and singing MPB alone.

After a sleepless nights, we went back. Was a decrease of almost 3 hours with several trips in giant waterfalls and plenty of water for only rains here in this "blessed" this summer. I had some cliff that was already slipped blackie.

And in the midst of so much crossing of waterfalls, snow and aggregates decided to purchase a pair of "sticks" to make these treks. Brazil has always met in a halfway crook to help at these times, but here is not just lying staff and even so I think they decided to industrialize bagacinha. Now we understand and we will adhere. But ONLY for trails in the mountains, because I think the biggest groundhog in the world this guy "Nordic Walking". You know what this is? It is a form of walking sticks where it is used to exercise the arms while walking. One day I wonder about the subject.

At that moment I was discovered by joining the movement. Afff ... Thankfully, I have no problem in changing opinion. (((-:

Oops ... I almost forgot the best part: the view from the bathroom. Have you wondered "moment" with this landscape !?!??! Only God!

And to close, here there are two little pictures of us to see our families that we Fortinho and healthy!

More photos? Here!!

Out of work and money

Dream? Definitely not mine.

I am living this situation. I have no job but have money to go shopping, take courses and travel. No, I have a money tree make money and neither smiling (but would be rich!). My husband works (a lot) to keep and I strive our best to make it worthwhile for him and of course for me.

Many look at this as a paradise, but we all know that heaven does not exist, right? It would be if I had always wanted to stay home and lead a life of total dedication to home and family. And that's not me. I have absolutely nothing against women who have this decision. Today even the admired, because I do not think that is an easy task. But for me is very difficult to deal with the lack of a job.

At the same time I feel like a stupid not to accept the situation "temporary" and enjoy my free time to do something for me. I'm doing, but I can and must do much more. For the first time I see clearly how difficult it work for you and you. We do it all your life for others and when God gives us a golden opportunity ... just do not know what to do with it and end up wasting it. This is to be human.

When I was working dreamed of the day I had the opportunity to do the things I really like to do for ME. She came, but I'm complaining about not having a job so I could do something for society. And believe me, you would not do better. Everyone tells me: "Ahhhh if I had this opportunity that you are having I was going to finish much enjoy my free time." Utopia. The dream is often just as sweet a dream. When it becomes so real you live the good and the bad part. This is REALITY.

Anyway, I am writing about the flood of feelings only today, because today I'm burying a hard week and sad. I'm burying all negative thoughts and self-destructive I had. I'm burying this human need only be useful to others. It's over.

Re-Start. Start here a new phase where I'm important enough to lift my head and where to meet to have and wherever you walk. Free. Start here to thank (much more) every day for the opportunity here and start to achieve my 3.0 with maturity and attitude. Believe me, has never been more difficult to continue.

Most difficult days will come and be here, right now, my chance to be better. And that's what I'm doing now.

Be grateful for what they have, as if waiting for something "perfect" case will end frustrated and unhappy. Perfection does not exist in the world where we live. It is the beginning of a new path that does not belong to those who need air to live. That's why we seek. It's what drives us to our last breath.

Life is not perfect and never will be, but can and should be lived in fullness and joy. So start now, because it is long enough to surprise you all the way.

Catholicism in checkmate

One day my mother told me he talked to a scholar on religion and the revelations made to her about what's going on behind the scenes of the religious world. He was referring to the discovery of the "Gospel of Judas" found in the 70's in Egypt, but was not "sold" to the scientific world in 2000.

After this long period has been restored and studied recently by an international team of researchers. According to carbon dating tests done at the University of Arizona, the codex was made between 220 and 340 AD It is a Coptic copy of the original texts written in Greek in the 2nd century AD. Over 62 pages, from an estimated 120 to 150. Gospel of Judas, 26 pages were identified.

Once again the Catholic church is kept in check and once again I am sure that this manipulation will soon be over. I do believe that Christ was an example, but I'm sure that the church used the power of prayer to manipulate their followers and become especially powerful in the political arena in times gone by. I am not against those who follow the Bible (even though she does not represent the truth), but I am against the way the way to go was made.

So still here, just praying to a higher power "no name" and seeking to inform me about any form of truth not to "sin" by ignorance.

Read more about this revelation in this very interesting report from 2006. Fantastic! To think this is just the tip of the iceberg.

http://super.abril.com.br/superarquivo/2006/conteudo_443887.shtml

The subject is huge, and the nose of the commanders of the Catholic church, so I'll just quote the passages that I found most interesting.

For two millennia, Judas was appointed as the biggest traitor of Jesus. Now, documents suggest he may have been the most faithful of his followers. "

The revelation is part of a manuscript written for nearly 1700 years and spent most of the time lost in a cave in the Egyptian desert. Written in Coptic, the language used in the writing of manuscripts in ancient Egypt, the text leaves no doubt about that promises to reveal the secrets. "

Not that the Gospel of Judas was just an unknown. Scholars of religion have known of its existence because of a letter written in 178 AD by the then Bishop of Lyons, St. Irenaeus - the man who decided that only the gospels of Matthew, Mark, Luke and John into the Bible. In his text, Irenaeus quoted nominally the Gospel of Judas in the midst of other texts that displeased the content "heretical." "

"In this group, some had defined roles. According to the Bible, Judas was up to the administration of the money collected during the preaching - a feature that suggests the confidence of Jesus (but also may never have existed, being added only to reinforce their affection for money). The funds raised covered the cost of travel. "Jesus was an itinerant leader," says Cornell. "

"It is very likely that each of the apostles had a group of their own followers. After all, although they speak in the name of Jesus, were they who came into direct contact with ordinary people. They gave advice, preached, worked miracles supposedly. And of course, did it their way: who heard Peter had a different view of the followers of John or Thomas on the teachings of Christ. Later, these individual pilgrimages serve as the seed to germinate many different Christianities in the first and second centuries AD - that is what you read, many Christianities. But before the new religion would have to watch his most emblematic episode. "

"In 26 pages, the document recounts the episodes occurred during the week before Passover in the year AD 33 (the day immediately preceding the arrest of Jesus) and shows a completely different version of what we had access to today. In the story, Judas is described as the closest disciple of Jesus, the only one able to understand the essence of his teachings. The depth of the relationship between the two appears, for example, in a passage in which Jesus challenges the apostles to make fun of their behavior. Laughing, he accuses them of not praying on his own, but only because they believe that so pleased God. While the apostles, taken offense at the scolding, "began blaspheming against him in their hearts" (in the words of the gospel), Judas is shown to be the only one to understand the words of the leader. Impressed, Jesus calls in particular to say, "Get away from the others and I will tell you the mysteries of the kingdom. You can understand them, but will suffer for it. "

"And what were the secrets revealed? In the manuscripts, Jesus speaks of a higher world, inhabited by the true God, a good spirit "that has never been called no name" and that gave rise to a line of angels, whence arose the creator of the earth. Worshiped by Jews and mentioned in the Old Testament, this would be an inferior God, whose creation imprisons the spirit of man. To save us and find the good God, we would need to seek our divine inner portion and deliver us from this world. Finally, Judas reveals that Jesus is superior to all men because "sacrifice the man that clothes me." And it reveals the mission of the disciples: kill the physical part to rid the body of his master, that is, the lower realm that imprisoned the divine spirit of Jesus. Judas fulfills the orders to the letter, immediately look for the priests to denounce the leader. For service, pocketed some money - the value is not specified. At this point, the gospel ends abruptly. "

"If Jesus was alive as each disciple had told the story their way, after the crucifixion versions multiplied. When the apostles died without leaving written instructions, then, since there was no clarification. Circulated hundreds of versions of the same facts. Christ was divine or not? Divine in its entirety or just partially? Who, after all, was God? As there was more than one answer to the same question in a few years the original trunk of Christianity - the ideas and stories of Jesus - it branched out into many branches. The Ebionites, for example, preached obedience to the laws of Judaism. The Marcionites said that the Jewish God was not the God of the New Testament. It is said that the carpocracianos were swapping (all right and holy in God's name, of course). Result: half a century, only 20 years after Jesus' death, Christianity was made up of various currents, many contradictory. And he had at least three dozen different gospels - texts that narrate the journey of Christ on Earth. Of these, only those of Mark, Matthew, Luke and John have just recognized the doctrine of the Church. The others were accused of spreading heresy, were never accepted by the Catholic authorities. The texts were excluded attributed to Mary Magdalene, Judas, Thomas, Peter, and now we know, even Judas. "The most important discovery in this new manuscript is to prove the existence of a diversity of views in early Christianity," said Marvin Meyer, an expert on the Bible at Chapman University in the U.S., and coordinator of the translation of the Gospel of Judas. "

"The Gospel of Judas was written in some Gnostic community, one of these branches of early Christianity. The assumption can be confirmed by historical documents. After all, the very Irenaeus, around 180 AD, the authors identified as gnostic gospel. Contrary to what many say, this was not a dissident branch of Christianity. On the contrary, Gnostics were very influential in the early centuries after the crucifixion, the man could preach that salvation is God knew - gnosis in Greek, means knowledge. Remember the reason why Jesus told Judas that had to die? This is exactly what we mean. Gnostics believed that men would release from prison of the body when they knew they had to share divine within. "They said that the world was created by another God, evil, and that the material body was a prison for the spirit," says Franciscan friar Jacir Freitas de Faria, professor at the St. Thomas Aquinas, in Belo Horizonte, and a leading scholars of the Gnostics in Brazil. No wonder, therefore, that the Gospel of Judas is regarded by researchers as heavily influenced by Gnostic thought. "This gospel shows a completely different way to understand God, the world, Christ, salvation and human existence," he adds. This mode reflects the thinking of the Gnostics. "

"The question that remains is how a group of Gnostics concluded that the supposed good guy is the real villain of the story. In the Bible, there are two versions for the fate of Judas. The Gospel of Matthew says that, overcome with remorse, he returned the 30 pieces he had received for treason and hanged himself. But according to the Acts of the Apostles, Judas bought a field with the money, and "falling forward, broke up the middle and all the intestines spilled out." "Versions of Judas' death narrated in the Bible are irreconcilable, but they are the only reports we have," says Chevitarese.

"But if Judas was guilty of treason and died as soon as gathered followers to write his gospel? Professor Stephen Emmel formulates two hypotheses: that Judas had time to tell their conversations with him before killing himself, or did not die so soon. "Who wrote the text of Judas thought he was a disciple very important," he says. "He believed that some special teachings were transmitted by Christ to Judas. And only to him. ""

"In the 1st century of Christianity, the excess of versions for the words of Jesus was not a problem. But in 178 AD, Bishop Irenaeus of Lyon, decided to unify the Church. He wanted to strengthen the Christian faithful and better control. Determined, then, that only four Gospels tell the true story of the son of God and therefore should be the ones followed by Christians. The Judas was discarded. The criteria that guided the choice of Irenaeus were subjective. The first, say historians, was the ease of understanding, since the texts must be read aloud to the faithful - after all, most were illiterate. The second point was the age: the gospels of Matthew, Mark, Luke and John were among the earliest, written between AD 65 and 95 The third argument is the number 4, by Irenaeus considered special - because there were "four winds and four directions (north, south, east and west) "wrote the bishop himself. And for obvious conclusion, four gospels. It was enough to understand the logic? "

"Of course, the story told in the gospel was also taken into account. Irenaeus represented Western Christianity, on the legacy of the Apostle Peter, who preached in Rome. He did not accept - indeed rejected - the Gnostic thoughts. "The Gnostics said that salvation came by the self. Thus, they believed that they need not attend church or worship services and have a priest as intermediary. It also claimed that the death of Christ on the cross served to free him from prison that was his body, but their suffering could not save men who adhered to the Catholic Church, "says Jacir de Faria. In practice, the Gnostic preaching was nothing interesting for a bishop who had intended to strengthen the Church. As the Gospels of Judas, Thomas, and even Peter received the stamp of heretics. "

"In making their choices, Irenaeus sealed the fate of Judas. An example: why Peter, who denied Christ three times, never had her virtue into question and did not go down in history as a traitor? "Peter, head of the Church in Rome, had to be the hero. The Church chose Judas as a villain because of the 12 would betray, "says historian Chevitarese. "Judas serves as an example to frighten Christians who do not follow the Gospel," said Jacir. "Christianity needs these archetypes. To destroy them is moving in the databases that support it. "It was safer to Irenaeus, therefore, stay with the gospels of Mark, Matthew, Luke and John, who followed similar lines and not hurt the principles that Peter was the apostle closest Christ and Judas, the betrayer. (For those curious to learn that Mark and Luke were not part of the original list of apostles, to clarify: Mark was the nephew of Peter. Luke's friend Paul, who became an apostle after the crucifixion, he said, "by God's will ".)"

"The Church will never accept the version that absolves Judas's betrayal. In her view, the sin of Judas was and is due to the misuse of their freedom. After all, he had free will to choose not to deliver Christ. It was not an inevitable act, not a fatalism, "says the historian of religion John de Araujo. The Friar agrees Jair de Faria. "Judas betrayed all of us when the project of the Gospel. The message is clear: When in doubt, better not betray. "Judas say so."
